Spring time?

It's hardly actually time for spring. As I write this there is snow falling outside my window. Oh sigh. However, the other day it felt kind of like summer was on it's way. Josh fired up the bbq for the first time in 2008 for our annual superbowl steak. I have to say, it was most delicious. We also did our potatoes on the bbq and they were also awesome. I can't wait for the season to begin so we can have more of these yummilicous dinners.

I just had to take a picture of the meal, since it was so divine. See, yum.
Anyways, not too much new. We went to the Richard's to watch the game, thanks guys. The food and company was great. I had lots of fun chatting with the girls while the guys got into the game. I did leave at my usual 9 pm curfew tho, only 150ish days left until I don't have to worry about getting up for work tho! Tres exciting. What else did I do this weekend? Um, Josh hooked the computer up to the tv so we could watch the funeral at home. We had our friend Dan over and after the funeral we had a little Wii fun time. Dan actually tied me in golf which is unheard of, since I usually take the winner title in that sport. Later that night Josh and I went to the mall for a little Josh spending money time. He never gets in the mood to shop anymore and I felt he deserved some new clothes, so I dragged him out. In the end I think he appreciated it. He got some nice stuff, including the steal of the night which was Banana Republic dress pants that we're 130 bucks on for 40! I mean c'mon! So awesome. Ok, I may have been more excited than him but whatever.
Um, I guess that was really it. I think I felt the baby kick for the first time the other day, but I don't know if it was or not, so I guess I just have to wait and see when it gets stronger. I am getting excited to have this little one (I'm a little early, I guess, but is it ever too early to want to have your child?!) Hope you all are just loving life, and this snow. Drive safe out there.

And, I sure you definitely felt the baby move. It's addicting huh! Makes it just that much more real! Funny how you can love them so much already!

that food looks so yummy! you need to start posting dinner ideas on the blog. I was thinking too about the baby kicking...another thing I did around this time was when I laid down (and you may have to wait a couple more weeks) I would look at my bare belly and all of a sudden I would see the baby kick! That's when I really started to notice the kicking was after I saw it! Exciting times...oh I could just talk about it all day!

Yummy! I wish I had space free of snow to even put my BBQ grill out on. You wouldn't believe the snow here!

I used to love laying really still on the bed and trying to figure out if I was feeling the baby kick or if it was just my tummy doing stuff... so exciting!! I agree with Kristi, actually seeing your belly move around is so much more exciting somehow!
So excited for you!
