So lame excuse, but the only reason I haven’t posted is because I am lazy. Sorry friends. I even have pictures and I did enough during the past week to talk about it, so I don’t know what my issue is. Heck.
So let’s see. Since my last post Kristine and Davis welcomed their little girl Kailey Ann into the world. Karen and I got to visit on Sunday evening, and we got to take turns holding here, and she is just the most precious little thing ever. Kristine and Davis we’re handling things like pros: feeding, diaper changing, swaddling. I was so impressed. I hope Josh and I will be quick learners like them.
I got to hang out with a few people in the last couple days for my lunch. On Friday, Amanda and I had Chinese (thanks for that Amanda). It was so good, but who am I kidding, I eat anything and it tastes good these days. On Monday, my friend Jess from university (who is on break from UNB this week) met up with me and we got to have a quick lunch hour catch up. It is always nice to see friends. Anyone down around my way during the day should pop by and say hi, and remember, my lunch is at 1pm, so we can always pop out to enjoy the fresh air.
What else is new? I took the day off yesterday, I had a nice little headache (which I think can be attributed to the fact that I no longer get the good sleep I am used to, I can’t lie on my tummy, which I love). It was also gross out, so it was nice to have the day at home to clean out my closet and pack a little for moving (I know it’s not until August, but I can pack my clothes that won’t fit me from now until then). I also got rid of some ratty old stuff that was sitting in the back, collecting dust. I enjoyed some nice afternoon napping, and got into see my dentist, no cavities by the way. That’s 24 years, never a cavity. Quite a feat which I rub in Josh’s face whenever I can.
This weekend Josh and I are going to the valley to apartment hunt. Fingers crossed we find something good. I am a little worried about it, but maybe we’ll get lucky. We get to spend the night at a B&B so that will be a nice little treat. We’ll go to church in Greenwood on Sunday (for stake YM business), and then we’ll decide if we’re going to go inactive for the time we’re there, haha.
So how are you all doing? It’s been a while since some of you posted, I’m watching you, please entertain me!!!
So now for some pictures: this first one is of the flower Josh and I are growing. It is over a meter high now, and no flowers. We’ll actually it has flowers now, but it took a long time for it to bloom. Weird eh? And picture two is of my friend from work, who loves living in my potted plant from Josh. Gus Gus showed up the other day, and frequently stops by to say hi, burrowing in my flowers. He’s so cute. Only 2 inches long, and a crooked tail. I love him. He makes my day fun. He’s been around a while, hey Kristi? Kristi met him well over a year ago now, and now he and I are tight and stuff too. So that’s all my friends. Thanks for stopping by. Oh, and I am trying to sell my Burton boarding boots. Size 7 ladies. Let me know if you know anyone interested. Thanks! Bye.

My friends had a plant like you and josh and it got HUGE but eventually a flower came and it was really pretty. I have to say you are pretty dang brave to take a picture of gus..ewww don't think i could do it!!!!
Gus Gus!!! I miss you little buddy! I hope Auntie Julia is giving you treats...side note...he doesn't like raisins. Good luck with the aparment/hopefully rental house looking! Cool flower. Good job not killing it...sometimes that can happen and stuff.
hah maybe i'm a siiick person but that gus gus picture is like the cutest thing ever. as long as mice aren't crawling at my feet they're okay in my books. oh, and i'm happy i made the friends list on your blog :)
Creepy little friend and interesting flower! I love your little baby belly. Lookin' cute!
Wow, I'm seriously impressed with Gus Gus. Man, that would be totally cool at work. Not so cool in your house though. I had some in my last apartment. Trust me when I say Gus Gus wouldn't be nearly as cute if he were eating your groceries!
Okay, that is totally disgustng. O hate mice. Does he just chill with you all day?
oh, and I went to see the dentist too! We're both cavity free!
hahaha one of the things I remember most clearly about you is your LOVE for the dentist!!!
