Well I am lacking quite a few pictures that I wanted to post of Josh’s birthday, but I feel I am getting a little behind on what’s been going on, so I had better just go with what I have now.
Josh celebrated his birthday this year more than I think he ever has in the past. It started with a visit to his parents on Tuesday last week (the day before the actual day).
We had a nice supper with summer salads and some good ol’ fried chicken. Josh’s parents got him an ice cream cake (which totally took away from the fact that I got him one too) but whatever.

He got some nice gifts, including this game called the Potty Putter. Which was mega funny, and we totally set it up when we got home to try out (pants on mind you).

We then celebrated his b-day again on the actual day, I got him a Transformers ice cream cake and we had some friends over. Josh turned 24 and so here we have a cake with 24 candles on it. It got quite warm in the kitchen while I was lighting them all, I tell you. The evening continued with a nice little visit with some friends whom we never get to see (Karen, I am talking about you!) Speaking of Karen, I went to her shower (super fun) and am waiting on pictures from that. Here she is holding Morgan for the first time, and realizing she totally wants a baby!

So that's that. as you can see, I am trying to learn how to format my blog layout a little more with pictures and so on. I am not so good at learning things and it has honestly taken me like 20 mins to post this and it should have taken like 5. So we'll see if I keep up with this stuff...Ciao for now brown cow.

Nice "potty" game.....a man had to have thought that one up for sure. Only they would need a game in the bathroom.......really do they have to take so long??? Glad to see Karen out and about......she should have lots more spare time once she's married....yahoo!!!! Catch you later.....

I love the potty putter! We got that for my dad for Christmas one year and my mom put a picture of his face in place of the guys on the box! Super funny! You're lucky you didn't melt his cake with all that fire! I put 30 on Donny's this year and nearly burned down our apartment!!! Did Josh get his all blown out? Donny totally had to take two breaths . . that's when you know you're getting old!

I might have to get Phil a Transformers cake for his birthday...he was like a little kid when we went to the movie! I agree with Karen that you may have a little morgan before she does...however I think she'll be a close next!! We'll have to try and get us all together (including husbands) since all I really do is talk Ethan talk all day!
